Do you know this feeling? You have an idea and want to realize that as soon as you can. This is one of these works.
Actually, I combined three ideas I had in the painting: A creature/strange figure, a nightmare and a guy with lots of ghosts were these from the beginning. The ghosts became flames/tentacles, 'cause they looked kinda cute with there small eyes. The tentacles were also inspired by Kvelertak's song (the video is just awesome!) 'Svartmesse': www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZrTwO… . The theme 'nightmare' was represented with some skulls. For these I used a 3D app, to find the angles I want. The eye on the head was a bit an allusion to Sauron.
I used ink pens and ink.
