Description
Lúthien Tinúviel and Beren Erchamion, ink pens and Prismacolor pencils (silver/blue, gold/orange and white) on wood, ca. 16x14,5cm.
It took me a long time thinking about who should be upside-down/'standard', both made sense to me. I decided on this version on one hand because of Beren as a 'natural' human and Lúthien as a 'supernatural' elf and on the other hand because of the warmer colour.
I have to note, that I sadly had no time yet to read the book, my knowledge about their story is based on the Silmarillion. But when I saw the piece of wood in my mom's flat, the idea for this came to my mind...my first try drawing on wood!

I'm really sorry for updating this again, but I recognized a very stupid mistake I definitely had to correct...
