Description
The lonely guy again...
I started this before Christmas in my art class, we finished our last topic already and did what we want. I actually finished most of the painting in these 90min., but the details/refinements still took some time after the holidays, so I finished it this week.
First let the colour drop down the paper and then worked out the face. Although this won't be the style of it, it is based on my idea for the graphic novel about solitude.

This picture shows so much sadness in such a vibrant way of looking at someones face... its bueatiful. i really like how you showed the rain coming down using the watercolors, and the shading is absolutly gorgeous!
It also really protrays what you're trying to get at- the melody of the rain. This really resonates with me because I live in maine and theres alot of rain in April in Maine and its sort of a mud season? But then after the rain then it gets better, which I hope will happen with this guy!
I also really feel that this is by an expert, since of how many different emotions are shown in one singular piece. I really hope that you get a lot of stuff if you do eventually do commissions (im not sure if you do so already... I came here through ProjectComment so im just seeing this gorgeous work!) This would be perfect in a museam somewhere... its hard to see anything that's incorrect with this!
